Dr. Elizabeth Jameson became the president of the Western History Association (WHA) at the society’s annual meeting, October 16-18, 2014, in Newport Beach, California.

The Department of History was well represented at the Western Conference on British Studies recently. 

In recognition of her “outstanding contributions to research at an early career stage at the University of Calgary,” Dr. Amelia Kiddle received a 2014 Killam Emerging Research Leader Award.
