War Enthusiasm in Canada, 1914
David spent his formative years in New Brunswick and Ontario. He took his BA at Carleton University and his MA at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Norman Hillmer. From 2001 until 2009, David was Visiting Professor (and Foreign Faculty Coordinator from 2005) at Pusan National University in Korea, where he taught political science, history, and English. He is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. David Marshall. His major field is Canadian History; his minor field, supervised by Dr. Stephen Randall, is American History; and his cognate field, supervised by Dr. John Ferris, is Military-Diplomatic History. His dissertation research will focus on the nature and extent of war enthusiasm in Canada in 1914.
