Biography

Christine is a PhD Candidate in History with a specialization in 20th-century Canada. Her research, supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), examines I Canadian Corps and the complexities of coalition warfare during the Italian Campaign of the Second World War. She holds an MA in History from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Calgary. Her dissertation and major field in Canadian history are supervised by David Bercuson; her minor is in 20th-century U.S. history supervised by Stephen Randall; and her cognate is in Civil-Military Relations supervised by Anne Irwin (Anthropology).
